In 2019, the FLC's Technology Focus will center on autonomous systems expertise, capabilities, and technologies available at federal laboratories.

Throughout the year, the FLC will focus on autonomous areas by hosting various activities that will explain each topic and the various sources, and promote the technologies that are helping to improve the U.S. economy.

Autonomous systems technology is providing solutions for federal agencies’ missions and operational effectiveness. From aerial to underwater frontiers, federal laboratories are pioneering new, smarter technologies through autonomous research and development (R&D). In 2019, the FLC's Technology Focus will center on the autonomous systems expertise, capabilities, and technologies available at federal laboratories.

The opportunities for advancing smart and autonomous systems technologies are vast. Federal laboratories representing nearly every federal agency are using their science and technology expertise to push the boundaries on automated capabilities.
