New Online Gallery Features State & Local Government Partnership Stories!

State and Local Government T2 Partnerships Gallery News Image

Over the past few months, the FLC received several State and Local Government (S&LG) success story submissions to feature in an online publication gallery. The new State and Local Government T2 Partnerships Gallery showcases the significant regional value that is produced when state and local government entities and federal laboratories work together for the greater good.

The gallery features 11 stories that took place in 9 different states and spotlights partnerships from 9 federal agencies, 12 federal laboratories, and their respective state and local government partners. Each successful collaboration explains the research and development (R&D) that produced innovative technologies, which have benefited local communities and economies nationwide.

Each story in the gallery is available to view, download, and share with your technology transfer (T2) offices and colleagues. Stories cover topics such as:

  • A multi-agency collaboration with California on tire crumb rubber exposure research
  • An innovative, federally funded program that supports commercializing defense technology with companies from Maryland’s “Great American Defense Community”
  • A state and federal laboratory partnership formed to mitigate the impact of droughts in California.

Whether addressing public safety concerns, improving water quality, or developing forecast tools to assist with flood control management, our federal laboratories are eager to use their R&D resources to support state and regional agencies and organizations.

Congratulations to all of the federal laboratory partnership stories selected for publication in the State and Local Government T2 Partnership Gallery!
