Be Prepared – Explore the 2019 National Meeting Guide!

Let the countdown begin! The 2019 FLC national meeting is next week at the Orlando Hyatt Regency in Orlando, Florida! To help you make the most of your meeting experience, we’ve gathered some must-know info and tips to assist both newcomer and veteran attendees.

The FLC national meeting guide includes the following details to get you prepped for the meeting:

Committee, Regional, and Agency Meetings

On Thursday, April 25, several FLC standing committees, FLC regions, and Department of Defense (DoD) branches will hold meetings for current and interested participants to discuss this year’s activities and pertinent plans. Below is a list of when those meetings will take place. The FLC encourages all attendees to participate in one or more of these meetings and take part in shaping FLC or agency initiatives.

State & Local Government Committee – 7:40 – 8:20 a.m. EDT

Awards Committee – 1:15 – 2:15 p.m. EDT

Communications Committee – 1:15 – 2:15 p.m. EDT

Concurrent FLC Region meetings – 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. EDT

Concurrent DoD Agency meetings – 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. EDT

Meeting Mobile App

To help attendees navigate the national meeting, the FLC has developed the 2019 meeting mobile app! With the app, attendees can receive the latest meeting alerts, view the agenda, build their own personal schedule, and participate in live polling during the Town Hall session. All attendees who registered for the meeting will be able to download the app from either the Google Play or the Apple App Store. Instructions will be sent to attendees via email and are also provided on the meeting site.
