FLC Accepting Nominations for 2018 Laboratory Director of the Year Award

Nominations are currently being accepted for the 2018 FLC Laboratory Director of the Year Award.  Sponsored by the FLC National Advisory Council, this award honors Laboratory Directors who have made maximum contributions to the overall enhancement of technology transfer for economic development. Accomplishments related to the transfer of technology from the federal laboratory to industry—including support of FLC activities, internal accomplishments, industry involvement, and community service—are the primary criteria for the award.


You can complete and submit your Laboratory Director of the Year Award nominations through this portal specially designed for the FLC.  No need to download files or send nominations via email. We have worked tirelessly to make this our most user-friendly submission process ever!

The deadline to submit a nomination for the 2018 FLC Laboratory Director of the Year Award is 8:00 p.m. EST (5:00 p.m. PST) on Monday, December 4, 2017.  No submissions will be accepted after this time.

PLEASE NOTE:  This deadline only applies to the Laboratory Director of the Year Award category.  The nomination period for all other categories of the 2018 FLC Awards closed on October 27, 2017.
