The Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer (FLC) is excited to announce its four-part webinar series aligned with this year’s Technology Focus Initiative – energy. The energy webinar series will run throughout the upcoming year, and will spotlight the vital role our energy system plays in supporting the nation’s infrastructure and economy.
Part one of the webinar series will kick off Wednesday, July 26, 2017, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET, and focuses on renewable energy—specifically, renewable power and renewable fuels. The renewable energy webinar will feature the following:
- Welcome & Introduction: Rochelle Blaustein, DOE, Office of Technology Transitions, Acting Director
- Speakers from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and the DOE Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy (EERE) discussing the status and direction of research in our federal laboratories
- Technology spotlights on photovoltaics, deriving fuels from biomass, new composites for wind turbine blades, and the DOE’s H2@Scale Initiative, among others
- In-depth Q&A session with our panel speakers.
