Space Act Agreement

Space Act Agreement

NASA uses two types of Space Act Agreements with public or private parties. Reimbursable agreements require the partner organization to pay for the use of NASA facilities, personnel or equipment in the pursuit of an R&D effort. Nonreimbursable agreements are used for collaborative R&D efforts in which both NASA and the partner contribute a combination of personnel, facilities, expertise, and equipment – with no transfer of funds.
