Clinical Trials Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CT CRADA)

Both the VA and the NIH use Clinical Trials Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CT CRADAs) when collaborating with industry to develop a technology or investigational new drug (IND) for commercialization through clinical trials. Various types of CT CRADAs are employed based on factors such as the phase of the clinical trial, ownership of the device or IND, and location of the trial.
