The Technology Transfer Training Resource Database (T2 TRDB) provides information about a wide variety
of education and training resources that are available practitioners of technology transfer. These resources
include formal and informal training, conferences and meetings, workshops and seminars, classroom and
online courses, undergraduate and graduate programs, and many other education and training venues offered
by federal laboratories and agencies, technology transfer organizations, nonprofits, and colleges and
universities.

Additional Technical Assistance *Focus on Small Business*
Many federal agencies provide training assistance for small businesses – below are a select few that may be beneficial to your needs.
The SCORE Association “Counselors to America’s Small Business” is a nonprofit association comprised of 11,500 volunteer business counselors throughout the U.S. and its
territories. SCORE members are trained to serve as counselors advisors and mentors to aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners.
The U.S. Small Business Administration launched this initiative to mobilize members of the
current generation of successful business owners to mentor and support startups and entrepreneurs to
help them become the next generation of great American companies.
The Clean Energy Alliance (CEA) and the Department of Energy (DOE) have formed the Department
of Energy Small Business and Clean Energy Alliance Partnership, supported by an American Resource
and Recovery Act grant of approximately $1.2 million. Through the members of CEA, the Partnership
is providing mentoring and commercialization services to cleantech companies that have received
federal support such as SBIR and STTR grants.
VetSEA is a Department of Veterans Affairs endorsed and funded program designed to help
disabled Veterans start businesses that could have a force-multiplier effect by creating jobs for
other Veterans.
VETransfer is the bridge that connects U.S. Military Veterans interested in pursuing
entrepreneurship to the best practices, resources, and network to help them succeed.
