Are you a science-savvy company or subject matter expert seeking exciting opportunities to support federal research and development? Can you provide innovative science, technology, and analysis to create new industries and jobs? Want to be part of the Green Services Revolution?
The General Services Administration, Region 2 (New York), plans to launch a new Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) in 2011. The new Science Schedule solicitation will be open and continuous. Contractors will be able to apply for a 5-year IDIQ contract to provide professional services in support of a wide array of federal customer agency R&D projects. Firm fixed pricing associated with this new MAS should be based on your established commercial market rates and fee schedule.
The scope of the Science Schedule includes, but is not limited to all of the following: Major Business Lines: pure and applied scientific professional services (directed and nondirected research; classical inquiry, investigation, observation, experiment and studies). Subcategories: Natural Sciences: physics, chemistry, astronomy, earth science, ecological sciences, life sciences/biology; Social Sciences: anthropology, economics, geography, sociology, political science; Cognitive Sciences: computer science, neuroscience, linguistics, psychology, philosophy; Formal and Applied Sciences: agronomy, architecture, military science, statistics, systems science, health sciences, mathematics, spatial science, including avionics and photonics.
All interested contractors are encouraged to provide complete contact information to Contracting Officer Tony Zaza at tony.zaza@gsa.gov. This initiative is planned to commence in 2011. We will contact all interested parties and post the open and continuous solicitation (there will be no end date). Neither an application or an award of a GSA MAS contract guarantees work, but it will provide the premier best value conduit to all federal civilian and military organizations to procure professional services quickly and cost effectively. Please include mail address, e-mail address, phone, fax, name of your authorized representative or principal investigator, and a very brief capability statement or list of scientific areas of expertise.
