Simulation Generator

New instructional approaches and tools are offsetting the demand on information workers. The most profound of these new learning technologies use databases and software to enable adaptive "learning by doing."

With these technologies, the learner is presented a logical sequence of problems or simulations where they are first instructed, then coached, and then allowed to practice solo.

The process for creating such interactive instruction has been very expensive and time-consuming. To reduce time and cost, Idaho National Laboratory has created a tool called SimGen.

Simulation training created using SimGen is currently being coupled with standard web-based overview tutorials to provide training for a large-scale software implementation.
