A variety of inks and paints exist which, after application to the surface of an article, are invisible under room lighting but which fluoresce at a characteristic color upon being illuminated by an ultraviolet (UV) light. Such chemicals could be applied to textiles, garments, and other items for such purposes as identifying their point of origin, storing manufacturing information, and tracking shipments. This present invention pertains to methods for recording extensive amounts of information in a manner that is convenient for automated marking and reading, and yet difficult to circumvent or counterfeit.
Features
The textile manufacture can identify products with a special reader and special bar code.
Benefits
