Manufacturing Technology Competitiveness Act (HR 255 - Introduced 1/5/07): "A bill to establish an interagency committee to coordinate Federal manufacturing research and development efforts in manufacturing, strengthen existing programs to assist manufacturing innovation and education, and expand outreach programs for small and medium-sized manufacturers, and for other purposes." This bill, which will provide technical extension services to small- and medium-sized manufacturers, is similar to HR 250, submitted in the 109th Congress.
