Faced with the complexities and growing

struggle to obtain information that is accurate, current, and usable. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS),
Mid-
Continent Ecological Science Center/Fort Collins Science Center (FORT) fulfills this need by providing
sound
scientific data and technical assistance to Department of the Interior bureaus and other natural resource
agencies. Located at several sites throughout the USGS Central Region, our research and support staff
of over
150 works closely with other federal and state/territorial agencies, universities, and private organizations
to
generate science products and services relevant to clients' needs. These include research reports and
journal
publications, predictive models and software, database applications, maps and GIS products, seminars
and
workshops, training, and technical assistance. Most staff work at the Fort Collins Science Center (FORT)
