Background/History of the Laboratory:
C2D is a technology driven organization, with its primary role being the research and development
of new
technologies and capabilities of its core competencies. As such, C2D's vision is built around the body
of
knowledge and set of capabilities that enable it to develop new technologies or enhance existing ones.

Mission of the Laboratory:
The mission of C2D is to research, develop, systems engineer, design, fabricate, integrate and demonstrate
technologies and capabilities, and provide unequaled support to PMs and
other customers in all of our core
mission areas to quickly transition optimum capabilities to the Warfighter.
