Description

  • An EPA is a formal agreement between a "defense laboratory" and an educational institution to transfer and/or enhance technology applications, and to provide technology assistance for all levels of educations (pre-kindergarten and up).

Features/Characteristics

  • Students can earn academic credits for laboratory research work while receiving academic and career advice and assistance to students.

    Priority is given to assisting educational institutions, including historically Black colleges, minority institutions, and institutions serving women.

I.P. and Resource Commitment

  • Under an EPA, equipment can be donated or loaned to an educational institute for any duration of time.

    Laboratory personnel can be allowed to teach or assist with developing courses and course materials.
