International Cooperative Research and Development (R&D) is a technology transfer mechanism that can reduce the development costs of U.S. weapons systems and combat support equipment to our allies.
Resources will be leveraged for equipping allied forces by exploiting and deploying the best military or civilian technologies available worldwide and through cost sharing afforded by coordinated research, development, production, etc.
