  • Personnel Exchanges are arrangements that allow lab staff to work in government, education or industry facilities, and people from government, education or industry organizations to work at the lab in order to enhance technical capabilities and support research in specific areas.

Features/Characteristics

  • Programs are usually short-term (1-year).

    Technical capabilities of government, education and industry facilities enhanced. Partnerships with various entities provide for innovative technology and better services to the government, industry and commercial marketplace.

  • >Generally no proprietary data is exchanged.
    Cost is paid by the organization sending the personnel.
