Description
- A CRADA is used when NIH and industry collaborate to further develop a technology for commercialization. For clinical trials, specific types of CRADAs must be used.
Features/Characteristics
- There are two types of CRADAs used for clinical trials. Intramural Clinical Trial CRADAs are used for collaborative studies that include a clinical trial conducted at the NIH. Extramural Clinical Trial CRADAs are used for collaborative studies that include a clinical trial conducted at NIH funded sites.
