The Licensing Executives Society (LES) is a professional organization of over 6,000 licensing professionals in the U.S. and Canada who are involved in the transfer, use, development, manufacture, and marketing of intellectual property. LES membership includes professionals in the fields of law, academia, and science, from both the government and the private sector. The society focuses on networking and training to keep members up-to-date on developments in licensing practices, law, regulation, and current issues relevant to licensing; and publishes numerous books, pamphlets and other educational materials relating to licensing issues.
