Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology - Classroom (on-site)

Description:

The Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology (M&T) is an innovative, joint undergraduate degree program in which students pursue degrees from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and the School of Engineering and Applied Science concurrently. The common goal for all Management and Technology students is the mastery of the technical and managerial skills necessary to define and solve problems in today's complex technological society. Particular attention is directed to the importance and processes of innovation in technology-based industries. M&T students pursue a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School and either a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) or a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering (BAS) from Penn Engineering. The curriculum builds on the strengths of these prominent professional schools and on a respected faculty of Arts and Sciences. Up to 55 students are admitted each year into the M&T Program as freshmen. A limited number of students can transfer into the program only at the conclusion of their freshmen year (other students may still pursue a regular dual degree program between Wharton and Penn Engineering).
