The FLC Technology Transfer Desk Reference is a publication that provides a comprehensive introduction to technology transfer and the background, concepts, and practical knowledge required for technology transfer practitioners, whether in government or the private sector, to facilitate the transfer of federally funded technologies from the laboratory to the marketplace. The Desk Reference provides detailed information on the following topics: technology transfer overview, including technology transfer history, legislation, strategies, organizations, and mechanisms; the role of the FLC in technology transfer; Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs); and intellectual property issues. A PDF copy of the Desk Reference can be viewed and downloaded from the FLC website. Printed copies are available free of charge to FLC members and may be purchased by non-members.
